Isabella Parke is a mixed-media abstract artist working across painting, spray, collage and artist’s books — currently studying at University of the Arts London, based in London, UK.
Her practice begins in the sketchbook: layered spreads of spray, ink, tape and handwriting where text is buried, resurfaced and torn open again. The page is treated as a site of pressure rather than a plan.
Alongside the abstract work sits a quieter observational practice — oil portraiture set against the same deep red grounds — and recent work carries the sketchbook language onto canvas.
